WELCOME to Next Level Thinking. The workshop created for athletes, coaches, umpires and referees aged 14 years and above. Giving them to power to empower others through effective communication, learning how to deal with conflict, discovering and understanding their strengths and how to bring strengths out in others.
Next level Thinking is empowering young athletes to empower others within their sporting community. To be the next generation of leaders in their sport.
Team GEM’s Next Level Thinking workshop focuses on giving our next generation of sporting leaders the tools and knowledge to help them become effective communicators and active listeners. The confidence and strategies necessary to effectively deal with conflicts. How to be a mentor by discovering their inner strengths and how to bring the best out in others. The workshop will assist them to become more self-aware through teaching that reveals their personal strengths and growth areas.
Next Level thinking will assist athletes in building relationships with their fellow team mates and through exercises and role plays that teach listening, empathy and encouragement. Athletes will have the opportunity to use these effective communication skills to overcome conflict and disappointment on and off the court. They will also learn the ability to be present and aware of themselves and their surroundings though a series of mindfulness activities.
It will give them an opportunity to reflect and discuss the why’s and how’s of life and sport using an active based program that will equip them with strategies to assist them as leaders and mentors on and off the playing field.
NEXT LEVEL THINKING is a 3 hour workshop delivered by Team GEM at your home ground.
